Description
Height: 20 cm
Material: earthenware
Building:
- Slabs made and left in the air; planning, markings and cuts made with the leather slabs. Beveled cuts at 45° (bevel cutter clay) for the fittings to fit.
- Bonding with creamy clay and assembly made with the slabs all still in leather. Finishing and cleaning with tools and finally a well-squeezed sponge.
Search suggestion : slab box pottery
Decoration :
- In leather state (the softer the better), application of underglaze decals.
- Slow and careful drying.
- After bisqued, glaze with transparent glaze and fired to 1000°C.
