AC310 Medium for screen printing 118ml
Description
This screen printing medium from Mayco is used to thicken the underglaze to make it suitable for use in screen printing.
The ideal underglaze for screen printing should be a toothpaste-like consistency (or close to it); If it's too liquid it will smudge. If we add a little bit of this powder to the underglaze and wait a few minutes, then we mix it and the underglaze becomes thicker.
Alternatively, we can place the underglaze in a container, leave it to air and mix daily. After some time the underglaze will be thicker, without needing to use AC310.
This product comes in handy when we need to prepare an underglaze for screen printing at short notice.
