Rubber plate for stamps

Description

Rubber plate measuring 15 x 10 cm for making stamps.

This plate is covered with a thinner layer of rubber that separates from the main rubber. After we draw the motif on the plate, we make the incisions with a craft knife. Then we lift and pull the colored layer, removing only some parts of the motif and thus creating the stamp.

We can cut the plate and make small stamps or use the entire plate for a larger stamp.

This stamp is used to create reliefs but also to print motifs with ink: if we ink the stamp we transfer the same image to the clay.
